To evaluate and promote each student in the various subjects and to facilitate an intense study of all the subjects, we have unit tests and terminal examinations. The results of the test and examinations are communicated to the parents by means of the progress reports. Parents will be invited to sign the progress reports on the following second Saturday after the examination; they are given the chance to discuss with the teacher, and if necessary, with the principal, regarding the progress of their ward.

Promotion is granted on the basis of the marks obtained in the annual examination as well as the tests and the general performance through out the year. The results declared at the end of the year are final. The minimum pass mark in each subject is 33%. This applies to all the classes.

A student who fails twice in the same class, or fails in the board examination or gets compartment will not be permitted to continue studies in the school. Students should obtain hall ticket after clearing the dues before giving terminal examinations.
